Saadani is located on the eastern coast of central Tanzania and covers 1,062 square kilometers. Enjoy a game drive along the Indian Ocean shores where you can see a variety of different animals taking in the sun and the sea. Not your typical Africa savanna environment, Saadani offers great game-viewing with a unique ocean backdrop.
You can see large animals in Saadani such as lions, leopards, buffalos, elephants, hippos, wildebeest, waterbucks, and much more. There are also a lot of marine birds in the park.
The park is open all year but animals are easier to see during the dry season in January, February, June – August.
