Tanzania’s Treasures

Tanzania’s national parks span the entire country and offer a wide variety of wildlife and habitats. The most popular national parks are located in Northern Tanzania and include Serengeti, Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Arusha, Kilimanjaro, and Mkomazi National Parks, and Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Southern and Central Tanzania is home to Selous Game Reserve, the largest game reserve in Tanzania, as well as Mikumi, Ruaha, and Udzungwa Mountains National Parks.

Visitors to Western Tanzania can explore Gombe Stream National Park, where Jane Goodall worked with the chimpanzee population, and Mahale Mountain and Katavi National Parks.
